Great hotel

Great hotel with big rooms, equiped kitchen, tv and everything you might need. I went during low season so it was empty, but I imagine it gets very busy during skii season.

Luxury apartment with the convenience to ski

The premier suite which we stayed at was well equipped and everything we needed was already in there. We managed some light cooking. The washing machine/dryer was useful particularly with growing kids.

The view we got was looking into another property so despite having a balcony we didn't sit out. Also we could smell cigarette smoke if the sliding door was left open at certain times.

Comfortable apartment with good location and friendly staff

The view of the apartment facing the ski slope is magnificent. Friendly and helpful staff who provide shuttle transport to town for necessities and food. Special mention to staff who brought us to clinic due to an injured knee from skiing.

Hard to contact property, disappointing and complex liaison

The ease of booking via the booking.com platform was easy and fuss-free. Managed to get a good price in as well. However, little did I expect to be facing other complications in this booking. Beyond the ease of booking, I don’t really have much to compliment.

I had to cancel my reservation due to a family emergency, but encountered several challenges in the process. Firstly, reaching the property was difficult because the response was slow via chat and the reservations and front desk had different contact numbers. Only the reservations hotline was listed, and the front desk number was not available on booking.com. I only found out about this discrepancy after a few attempts to contact them, in which the reservations team couldn't assist because the “front desk was closed” - at 5/6pm?? Strange. I was promised a callback, which I never got. Which brings me to my second point, the front desk had short operating hours, making it challenging to connect with them. I only managed to speak to the front desk only my fourth (I lost count?) try. Thirdly, the staff we spoke with had limited English proficiency, adding to the frustration during a stressful time. Despite navigating through these difficulties, I was disappointed that the property couldn't make an exception for my late cancellation (48h), considering the family emergency and my repeated efforts to reach them. In contrast, my experience with another hotel was more positive. They were helpful in assisting me with the cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances. After persistently trying to contact the property through local assistance, we finally spoke to a front desk staff. However, my repeated appeals were rejected by the property management, ending with what I perceived as a less-than-sympathetic note: "My apologies for the bad news and inconvenience to your plans; it is never a good moment when bad news needs to be broken." While I acknowledge the property's right to withhold refunds based on their terms, I believe a more compassionate approach could have been taken in my situation.

A splendid experience where I would come back certainly and try out other Nisade stay

Great cafe at the lobby. Approachable and friendly staff makes our stay memorable. In terms of the 3-room apartment, it was Spacious, with a tasteful interior, radiator heater available, washing machine and dryer, racks, sufficient hooks & places to hang your clothes and towels (I truly appreciated !), fully equipped kitchen/wine opener, nespresso machine and a vacuum cleaner for us too. It’s a perfect place for me and my family during our stay in Furano. The highlight was also the convenience of the free shuttle to get us to the restaurants, ski resort, cheese factory, winery and Furano Marche. Well done Nisade Fenix West and team!

Almost nothing but if I can comment on one, please do vacuum under the beds. Pull them out to clean as there were dust balls in all the rooms.

All in all, it was a good stay. We're glad we chose to stay at Fenix West.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. We particularly love the big dining table. But we definitely needed more chairs for our family of 7. The rooms were quite clean but of different sizes. But we did wish for more shelves or hooks to put or hang up our things. The bathrooms were good sized and the shower gel and shampoo provided were great. My boy loved it. We loved the Cafe Ronin downstairs where we could get hot coffee and warm breakfast, and the two ladies running the cafe were very warm & friendly.

Fenix West is located in a quiet location and there's not much food options close by. Although we love the cafe, the food options were limited. It would have been much better if there was a eatery or convenience shop on-site. The apartment was new and fairly clean. However there was uncleared rubbish left by the previous tenant in one of the toilets. That was a bit unpleasant.

Very Good

In-room washing machine/ dryer is a surprise! Great! New and relaxing, comfortable room. Nice staff !

No dinner provided ( perhaps low season) (and very limited choice of restaurants nearby). Limited car parking space too ( perhaps due to renovation in front of the hotel).

A very well setup place and enjoyable place to be based from to explore the area.

Exceptional location, outlook , well equipped , comfortable rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. We were very well looked after.

Self log in on the tv to our streaming services was not working yet.
